Ragolle Rugs is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) according to the European Regulation 2016/679 as applicable since 25 May 2018. 2. What Personal Data do we process?

Ragolle Rugs processes your Personal Data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Ragolle Rugs processes Personal Data of natural persons with whom we have, have had or wish to have a direct or indirect relationship. This, therefore, concerns both the Personal Data of the contact persons specified by our customers and suppliers, but also the contact persons at our potential customers and the Personal Data of potential employees.

Ragolle Rugs may collect or obtain the following Personal Data from you:

  • Identity data (name, email address, mobile number)
  • Data related to your academic curriculum (in the context of an application)
  • Complaints you submit or requests you address to us.

Ragolle Rugs does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16 years of age. We, therefore, advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. 3. Why do we process Personal Data?

We only use your data for the purpose of our services. We collect and process Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • For efficient business operations, in particular to be able to contact our contact person at the customer or supplier directly.
  • To give you the opportunity to post and exchange information on our website, for example when you fill in our contact form.
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations, for example in the context of our accounting obligations.
  • To be able to recruit new employees. Ragolle Rugs does not make decisions about matters that may affect individuals based on automated processing.

4. On what legal basis do we rely?

Ragolle Rugs only processes the Personal Data that are necessary to efficiently contact our customers and suppliers. For that reason, simple contact details are kept of our contacts at customers and suppliers. This is part of our legitimate interest, in particular efficient business operations.
It happens that we are contacted by candidate employees. It is in our legitimate interest to keep the data of candidate employees for a limited time. If we decide not to withhold your candidacy, we will always ask for your permission, if we wish to keep your data longer with a view to our recruitment reserve. In the context of the general security of the company premises, Ragolle Rugs uses camera surveillance. It is in the legitimate interest of Ragolle Rugs to process such Personal Data, but this is always done in accordance with the Belgian CCTV Legislation.

5. Access by and transfer to third parties.

Ragolle Rugs does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it, if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Ragolle Rugs undertakes to the best of its ability to take all reasonable measures to ensure the protection of your Personal Data through technical security measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. The Personal Data provided to Ragolle Rugs will be stored at Ragolle Rugs, if necessary with the Processor on servers in Belgium or the European Union.

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data.
